Bewegte Gespräche
Our new series of “moving conversations” (DE: “Bewegte Gespräche”) continues! We are delighted to announce that Ante Pavic and Natalia Torales will host their roaming dialogue on family life in Neukölln, Love in Progress, on September 25th at 14.00, starting point Boddinplatz! Participation is, as always, free and welcome to anyone who wishes to exchange and be inspired!
We’ve spent enough time inside this last year: it’s time to hit the streets! In the series Bewegte Gespräche guest artists have thought about how to look at our familiar surroundings of Nordneukölln with new eyes. On the streets and in the parks, on Kindlgelände and along the construction site of Karl-Marx-Strasse: as we move through the neighborhood, we will speak with each other, ponder life’s bigger and smaller questions, and train our powers of observation and agility. Each Bewegte Gespräche (engl: “Moving conversation” is planned and led by an invited guest. Each moving conversation is dedicated to a theme.
All participants take a walk through the neighborhood, where they are invited to try out small tasks and pick up food for thought. Each Bewegte Gespräch includes a surprise! Each Bewegte Gespräch is open to anyone who wants to walk, share, and be inspired.
The moving conversations take place predominantly in German. However, some of our guest artists have another native language, and anyway, we are also willing to communicate by hand and foot!
The Bewegte Gespräche series was created by choreographer Kareth Schaffer and the Construction Company.
