No More Suffering
In February 2022, Martin Hansen and Kareth Schaffer will present their collaborative exploration of cultural and physical narratives of suffering. Drawing on nursery rhymes, jumping rope, and the stations of the cross, No More Suffering develops a rhythmically compelling vision of a world in which outrage borne of pain is not the only politically potent gesture.
Rehearsals for No More Suffering began during a short residency at Tanzfaktur in July 2021 at the Institut for Ausufernde Dramaturgien and included a research visit to the Kölner Dom.
